In conjunction with the National Abortion Federation (NAF), A Preferred Women’s Health Center (APWHC) is pleased to offer financial assistance to women in need. The amount of funding depends on the cost of your abortion and your financial situation. NAF has established a call center to provide more detailed information about funding and determine how much financial assistance you qualify to receive. These trained counselors will work with you and assess your personal situation. Together, we can help you through this difficult time.
Make an appointment…
First, you need to make an appointment at one of our private medical offices. You may do this on-line through our website or may call 1-888-665-4126. We have counselors on duty seven days a week: Monday through Friday (7 am – 9 pm), Saturday (7 am – 3 pm), and Sunday (11 am – 7 pm).

After we have reserved a convenient appointment time and discussed the anticipated medical fees, we will help you contact NAF to process your request for financial assistance. Just remember, you need to have a scheduled appointment with APWHC before you request funding. We will work with you to find the best financial solution for you.
Additional reduced rate options…
A Preferred Women’s Health Center has always offered abortion services for a reduced fee to certain groups of women who typically require financial consideration and assistance. We want every woman to have control of her life and her personal decisions. This means we must offer affordable abortion care…and we do!
To automatically qualify for a reduced rate, you must be able to verify you belong to one of the following groups:
- Students(currently enrolled in High School, college, or full time vocational)
- Military Personnel (active duty, including dependents)
- Medicaid Recipients (current enrollment card required)
